Careful IKEA kitchen installations, done right the first time
I install IKEA kitchens in Ottawa and the surrounding area for people who care about getting it right. Every installation comes with my five-year warranty.
- Careful, precise work: level, square and aligned, the way IKEA cabinets are meant to go together
- Punctual and reliable: I show up when I say I will, and I only reschedule for real emergencies
- A fixed estimate: you know the price before I start
- Personal service: you deal with me from the first email to the last cabinet door
Why IKEA kitchens?
I’m originally from Denmark and came to Canada from Switzerland in 2013. I’ve been a proud Canadian citizen since 2018.
I’m a mechanical engineer by training, with over 25 years in engineering jobs and more than 30 years of DIY renovation. For the last 7 years, IKEA kitchens have been my full focus.
IKEA kitchens suit the engineer in me: a clever system that only looks and works its best when every cabinet is level, square and aligned. After 340+ kitchens, I know where the details matter.
More than installs
I also share what I’ve learned with people who install their own IKEA kitchen, on my YouTube channel and on kitchensbyrannes.com.
I’m putting everything I know into a step-by-step online guide for DIYers.
